Chennai Makes Masks Mandatory From July 6th

The new number of Covid-19 cases have seen a sudden and huge rise in the states of Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. Some of the states have imposed restrictions and made masks mandatory for the people when they are in public places. The Chennai City Corporation made masks mandatory for all the people when they are in public places from tomorrow. A fine of Rs 500 will be collected for those who violate the rules. The Corporation also asked the owners of the theatres, malls, shops and marketplaces to impose the rule for all the public including their employees. Alll the needed precautions should be taken told the Corporation of Chennai.

India reported 13,086 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The death toll rose to 5,25,242 in total till date after the pandemic started. The active caseload in the country reached 1,14,475. The positive cases percentage is said to be 0.26. A total number of 12,456 people recovered from coronavirus completely in the last 24 hours and the total recovered people in the country are 4,28,91,933. The recovery rate in India reached 98.53 percent. The new cases reached minimum but they have seen a rise.
