Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the biggest Drone Festival named Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022 in Delhi today. He addressed the gathering after the inauguration and he conveyed his fascination and interest in the sector of drones. Narendra Modi said that he was extremely impressed with the drone exhibition in the field of innovation. Narendra Modi also interacted with farmers and young engineers and he said that they are making the technology available for the masses initially. "The energy and enthusiasm in the field of drones are visible and this indicates the strength of the country. This sector has great opportunities and possibilities for the next generation" told Narendra Modi.

Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Mansukh Mandaviya, Bhupendra Yadav along with several businessmen and politicians were present. "The use of drones will increase in the field of Defence, Disaster Management. The enthusiasm in the Indians for drones is amazing. There is a huge scope for employment generation in this sector very soon" told Narendra Modi. The event will take place for two days. Narendra Modi also said that the drones can be used for disaster management. He also interacted with kisan drone pilots and he witnessed the open air drone demonstrations.
