Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is off to Europe during the early hours of today and he will discuss various issues to strengthen the bilateral partnerships. Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra told this on Sunday. Modi left for Germany and he will meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin today. He will then fly to Denmark to meet Danish PM Mette Frederiksen in Copenhagen. Modi will also participate in the Second India-Nordic Summit with the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The event will take place tomorrow.

Modi will also make a small stop in Paris to meet Emmanuel Macron, the President of France. Though Modi did not mention or reveal about the Russia and Ukraine war directly, his visit is focused on discussing about the war with various international leaders. Modi has been supporting Ukraine in the issue and he initiated talks with the Russian government for peace. This is Modi's first trip to abroad this year and it will have two dozen engagements for 65 hours. He will meet the leaders of seven countries with 50 global business leaders. Modi will also co-chair the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC). Several Indian Ministers will travel to Germany for the meeting.
