There is a jump in the returns filed to 'Strict Enforcement action taken against the errant taxpayers that are identified based on the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics'. 10.6 million GST returns were filed when compared with the 9.2 million early this year. The average monthly collection will be higher than 1.40 lakh crore for the first quarter of 2022 predicted the Indian government. ICRA chief economist Aditi Nayar told that the inflows are enthusing. He said that this is also an evidence of a healthy pace of economic activity in March this year.
