Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a hectic and packed schedule during his recent USA tour. On his return, Narendra Modi supervised the construction work of the new Parliament premises. He launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission today and this will provide a Health ID that has a track of the health record of the individual. Narendra Modi announced the project on August 15th, 2020 and the pilot project commenced today. Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is implemented in six union territories for now. Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will be implemented across the nation on National Health Authority will celebrate its third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will have a digital record and will create seamless online platform of information as per the report from the Prime Minister's Office. Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will give access to the health records of the individuals with their consent. A unique health ID will be given for every citizen of the country and it will have their health record. All the personal health records can be linked through the mobile application. Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR) and Healthcare Facilities Registries (HFR) will be the healthcare providers. This would also make business easy for healthcare service providers and hospitals.

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will also build a digital health ecosystem which was played by the Unified Payments Interface. Through the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, the Indian citizens will be a click away from accessing the healthcare facilities.
