A total number of 26,964 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours in the country. The new cases saw a decent decline in the recent weeks though they crossed 35,000 mark at times. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, the total number of active cases in the country are said to be 3,01,989 which is the lowest in the last 186 days. A total number of 34,167 recoveries are reported in the last 24 hours in India. With 383 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total deaths in India reported till date are said to be 4,45,768. The total number of vaccinations administered in India in total are said to be 82,65,15,754.

The total number of cases reported in India in total are said to be 3,35,31,498 and the total number of recoveries are said to be 3,27,83,741. The total number of people who took vaccination doses yesterday are said to be 75,57,529. The daily positivity rate of coronavirus in India is said to be 1.85 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 2.08 percent. The Indian recovery rate is said to be 97.77 percent which is the highest this year after March. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples of coronavirus that are tested on September 21st are said to be 15,92,395 and the total samples that are tested in India till date are 55,67,54,282.
