The second wave of coronavirus is making the country worse. The new number of cases along with the deaths are increasing at a rapid speed. Frankly speaking, there is a huge shortage of vaccines in the country. There are a lot of people aged above 45 years who are yet to take the vaccination shot. Though the Indian government announced that the people aged between 18 and 45 will get the vaccination from May 1st, it never happened. India has a population of over 130 crores and it is a humongous task for the government to offer vaccination considering the current situations. There are ongoing debates about the vaccination process. The Indian government placed bulk orders and the providers are working round the clock. Analysts say that the vaccination would be available in the market on a full-fledged note after three months.

As per the estimates, it would take two and a half years to vaccinate the entire population of India. This is the estimated time if the government is completely focused on the process of vaccination. There are several senior citizens who are yet to receive the first shot of coronavirus vaccine. There are lakhs of people who are waiting for their second dose of vaccine after the time frame got completed. The states are left helpless as the Centre failed badly in meeting the demands. Some of the states are directly in contact with the vaccine providers and are waiting for the doses.

It's time for the country to welcome other vaccine providers and speed up the mass vaccination process before things turn worse
