40 retail stores closed in Pennsylvania due to COVID-19

40 stores have been shut down in Pennsylvania temporarily because of the COVID-19 virus.However, these 40 stores are planning on shutting down permanently once the virus recedes.

Some retail stores have closed permanently already in 2020. Stores including Pier 1 Imports, Sears Optical, New York & Co., Art Van Furniture, Stein Mart, Justice, Catherines, Potrait Innovations, A.C.Moore, Wilson Leather, G.H.Bass and Modell’s Sporting goods have permanently shut down.

GameStop, J.C Penny and GNC, CVS, Gold’s gym, express, Macy’s, motherhood maternity destination maternity, Sears, Wallgreens, Victoria’s Secret and GAP are some of the few stores that have been temporarily shut down due to the virus. They have shut down more than 10 of their stores all over.

The temporarily shut down stores will be re-opened once the virus recedes. They are currently operating online to sell their products without risking citizens’ health and wellness.
