A school in Noida has been closed for three days in the midst of the coronavirus scare after a father of a class 6 student has been detected with the infection. Another school has also decided to get closed from Wednesday till the 11th of March in order to take precautionary steps for staying safe from the deadly COVID-19.

Both the schools have been visited by the officials of the health department and had collected the samples of two school kids.

The chief medical officer has led the team and has started the sanitization exercise on the premises of one of the schools. However, the family of the child has been quarantined.

BN Singh who is the district magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar has said that the family has been quarantined and the location has been visited by the chief medical officer who has advised the school to shut down and had ordered a deep fumigation and that there is nothing to worry, as told to TimesOfIndia.

The school which is said to be located in Sector 135 of Noida has been closed for the next three days for the fumigation because of the concerns over the spreading of the infection and the other school is located in the Sector 168 of Noida.

The authorities of the school has asked the parents to pickup their children and many students have also skipped the school scaring of getting infected by the deadly coronavirus.

It has been said that a birthday party was thrown by the person who has been tested positive for the deadly coronavirus in Delhi on Monday and that several students of this school were present at that party which was thrown by a COVID-19 infected person.

The first case of a person being infected by the deadly coronavirus in Delhi has been detected on the 2nd of March and it has been identified that the patient has travelled to Delhi from Italy and that he is being diagnosed and treated at the RML hospital.

The ministry of health has said on Monday that the patient is stable is being monitored closely.

Two more confirmed cases of being infected by the deadly coronavirus have been reported in India on Monday and one more case of suspicion of COVID-19 has been recorded in India.

The coronavirus which has been officially named as COVID-19 was first detected in the Wuhan city of China on the 31st of December and it has spread at an alarming rate over the country and across several other countries claiming the lives of several thousands of people and infecting many more. It has been recorded that the COVID-19 has killed over 3,000 people globally until now.
