Govt Of India Has Temporarily Suspended Carriers From Iran

India has suspended the carriers of Iran temporarily from flying due to the rapid outbreak of coronavirus in Iran. However, no airlines from India have their carriers to Iran while two airline from Tehran named Iran Air and Mahan Air are said to be flying to India and the flight Iran Air is said to have their flights to Mumbai and Mahan Air to Delhi and it has also been said that the two airlines Iran Air and Mahan Air have five flights together this week.

A senior official has said that the temporary restriction on these airlines from Iran have been made so as to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus which has been spread at an alarming rate in Iran.

The government of India is taking necessary measures in curbing the coronavirus from spreading as the authorities of the Indian government are also performing the screening of the travellers at the airports, sea ports and also at the borders of the country and is making sure that the country safe from the deadly COVID-19 as there has already been three confirmed cases in India in the south state of Kerala and it is now said that all the three patients have been discharged from the hospital.

Saudi Arabia has also temporarily banned the entry of foreign pilgrims to its Muslim holy sites in order to prevent the spread of the deadly COVID-19 epidemic, on Thursday. It has been said that Saudi Arabia has put a temporary ban on Umrah pilgrims from visiting Mecca and Medina. It has also been said that Saudi Arabia has also suspended the visas for the tourists from the countries who have confirmed cases of coronavirus whioch also includes the tourists from India.

This is said to affect the airlines of India which have their carriers between India and Saudi Arabia like Air India, IndiGo and SpiceJet as these airlines are said to operates around hundred flights a week to Jeddah with almost half of the total passengers being pilgrims. It has been said that Saudi Arabia is the second biggest destination for flyers from India with United Arab Emirates being the first.

Coronavirus which has been named as COVID - 19 has been first detected in the Wuhan city of the Hubei Province of China and this virus is said to have spread at an alarming rate claiming lives of several people and infecting many more. The first case of an individual being infected with the deadly coronavirus was recorded in China and the first case of death that is caused by the deadly coronavirus has been recorded in Philippines. It has been recorded that the coronavirus has spread to over 37 countries around the globe.

The deadly coronavirus has infected several thousands of people with around 83,896 confirmed cases in China and the number of deaths that have been claimed by the deadly corovirus has been recorded as 2,867 and the number of cases that have been recovered from the COVID-19 has been recorded as 36,827.
