Number of Deaths in Delhi Violence Flared up to 32 with over 250 Injured

The capital city Delhi has been shattered with communal clashes and riots from the past four days and it has been recorded that the number of casualties due to the large- scale mob violence has increased up to 32 on Thursday morning.

It has been said that more reports of arson and unrest has poured in from the areas of Bhajanpura, Maujpur and Karawal Nagar of the North- east Delhi, late on Wednesday. This has been observed hours later a charge has been taken regarding the security situation by Ajit Doval who is the National Security Advisor, he has also made an attempt for establishing order in the areas that have been affected.

Justice S Muralidhar who is a judge of the Delhi High Court has been transferred to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, on Wednesday which had been done hours after the High Court has pulled up the police for inaction.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended on the 12th of February regarding the transfer of Justice Muralidhar and it has been later issued by the Centre on Wednesday during the night.

Flag marches have been carried out by the police and the paramilitary forces in the areas where the violence has taken place.

Arvind Kejriwal who is the Chief Minister of Delhi had raised a request for the deployment of Army which has not been warrant by the Centre as it said that the situation was under control.

As per the authorities of the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital 30 deaths have been recorded and two deaths have been reported at the LNJP hospital and one at Jag Parvesh Chandra Hospital and also a Delhi Police Head constable Ratan Lal had also been killed in the communal clashes on Monday. It has also been reported that an Intelligence Bureau officer has also been killed and was dumped in the drain during the violence that out broke in the areas of North- east Delhi.

The Delhi Police has arrested around 106 people for allegedly getting involved in the violence and also 18 FIRs have been registered. All the security personnel have been equipped with riot gears and batons during the flag march which have been carried out in the violence- hit areas by the police and paramilitary forces and the are is said to be under the prohibitory orders until the 24th of March.

The violence that outbroke in the North- east Delhi on Sunday have seen mobs who were armed with swords, guns and acid which had left injuring and killing several hundreds of people. It has been said that this violence has been triggered by protests over the Citizenship Amendment Act where in the protests have been conducted by both the groups who have supported the Citizenship Amendment Act and the group which was against the amendment of the citizenship act.
