India to Prepare for Evacuation of citizens from Wuhan

With the on going spreading of the the deadly coronavirus, the government of India is taking suitable steps for possible evacuation of over 250 citizens from the city of Wuhan in China, which is the epicenter for the fast spreading of the coronavirus.

Many Indian students with most of them being medical students are stuck in Wuhan which is triggering the concern for the authorities of India as Wuhan has been the epicenter of the new deadly coronavirus that is taking lives of several people in China and across the several countries.

The authorities of China have sealed along Wuhan along with twelve other cities in order to stop the spreading of the deadly virus.

It is said that a special flight is being prepared by Air India on its Boeing 747 from Mumbai to Wuhan in order to fly out the Indians from China. The airlines is awaiting clearances from several places that also included the airport in Wuhan in order to provide the clearance although the flight has been scheduled to depart at 5 in the evening on Monday

A meeting has been held where in the Rajiv Gauba who is the cabinet secretary has reviewed the preparedness of India in order to deal with the coronavirus in the midst of the global concern that has been increasing with the increase in the number of cases in China and various other countries.

The decision has been taken in order to undergo screening at the international airports for the people who have come from China as well as the checking at the integrated check posts across Nepal.

The meeting has also decided that instruction will be issued to the airlines by the civil aviation ministry in order to manage and notify if anybody has been reported with illness on all the airlines and if they have any direct or indirect connectivity to China.

The officials have also said that the airlines will also be asked by the civil aviation ministry to make in- flight announcements and the distribution of health cards to be made to all the flights that are directly or indirectly connected to China. A meeting has also been held on Monday where in the health ministry and the chief secretaries have reviewed the preparedness in five states which have Nepal at its border.

The death toll has increased to 80 and the number of confirmed cases are 2,744 it has been identified that the virus has spread to several countries like US, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Nepal.

The 2019 Novel Coronavirus which is also known as the 2019- nCoV is a respiratory virus that has been identified in China in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The systoms of the virus include cough, fever, runny nose and difficulty in breathing.

The virus is identified as zoonotic disease as it is said to be transmitted from animals to human beings and the virus can spread from person to person when the infected person sneezes or coughs.

However, there is currently no vaccine for the prevention of getting affected from the deadly coronavirus but the prevention can be done by few precautions that ought to be taken in order to stay safe from getting infected by the coronavirus which include washing your hand or sanitizing them very often, distant yourself from others when you are sick, avoiding close contact with the sick individuals, using a tissue while you cough and sneeze and disposing them immediately and frequent cleaning and disinfecting of the objects that are touched often.
