A grenade has been hurled by the terrorists on the CRPF personnel at Habak Chowk of Srinagar on Wednesday. It is said that at least two civilians were injured in the attack.
A search operation has been launched by the security forces after the attack and the investigation has been started by the police parties.

The officials said that the grenade missed the target and exploded which caused injuries to the nearby civilians. However, no CRPF personnel has been injured.
According to the sources, the grenade was lobbed over the wall from inside the Kashmir University, as said to India Today.
The official has said that the grenade has been lobed by unidentified terrorists in order to target the CRPF personnel in Kawdara. It is said that, a boy received minor splinter injuries with the explosion of the grenade, while he was moving on the road and two the attack has damaged two private vehicles.
