Indian American International Chamber of Commerce opened in New York too

With the consistent growth in the India-US strengthening relationships, it isn’t surprising that the Indian American International Chamber of Commerce opened up its New York regional chapter at the Consulate General of India recently.
The event was attended by some of the dignified personalities in the field including Ajit Pai, Indian American Chairman of Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Pai addressed the event stating that they way they see and analyse it, the Chamber isn’t just in the economic-development business, there are also not difference in the building of the business involved. He believes that doing so is strengthening America from bottom up and not the other way around.
He further stated saying that the main aim of the IAICC is to help establish better connections and bonding between India and the United States. The chamber is also planning on extending the expansion to over 50 chapters across the two year time frame. The chamber has already recently opened up its another outlet at Mississippi chapter on December 2018.
The event conducted also recognized the kind of contributions that the Indian Americans have had on the varying fields and sectors in life. Pai highlighted the kind of contributions that they have had on the fields of technology, finance, academia, health etc.
Addressing the situation, Pai stated saying, “The tech sector has arguably become the dominant force in our culture, and Indian-Americans are leading the way. Multiple world-leading technology companies, including Google and Microsoft, now feature Indian or Indian-American CEOs, and nearly one in four Silicon Valley startups is desi-founded.”
In December itself, IAICC does have the set plans of launching five new chapters including Western Regional, and California State Chapters, Massachusetts and New Hampshire State Chapters and Arizona State Chapter. The organization is all set to celebrate its 30th anniversary on April 2020.
For those who aren’t aware of what the IAICC stands for. It is an overall organisation that provides both India and the US with a sustainable platform to further promote leadership and promote better economic growth and development.
It also works with the various government based offices and professionals to further develop entrepreneurship through the help of the mentor protégé program along with trainings and seminars.
