On Monday, The ‘Singing Nightingale’ Lata Mangeshkar was finding it difficult to breathe and she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital early in the morning.

The Hospital sources said, she was in a critical condition and now they see an improvement in her health. She is being treated by Dr. Patit Samdhani.

The doctor told PTI “ She is critical but her condition has slowly improved” and one of the Veteran Singer’s PR team said that she was stable.

She is able to cope up because of her lung capacity as a singer. She is fighting through this battle quite well. The Statement says, they will update everyone about her condition and at the moment the family needs their personal space.

One of her recent albums was sung as a sign of respect to the Indian Army, the name is ‘Saugandh Mujhe Is Mitti ki’ which came out on March 30th. In 2001, she was presented the ‘Bharat Ratna’ and she has beautifully sung thousands of songs in regional and foreign languages.

Besides, she produced many films and won an award by the Maharashtra Government for composing music.

Let’s hope for her quick recovery.
