A young Police Department officer aged 27 injured in fire shots breathed his last on Tuesday afternoon, declared by Mayor of Dallas Mike Rawlings confirmed during Dallas city council meeting.

Rogelio Sander Died at 8:11am on Wednesday morning, Rawlings stated in a report.

Another police officer Santander’s Partner who is 26 year old Crystal Almeida remains to be in critical condition being hospitalized, at Texas Presbyterain Hospital on Walnut Hill Lane.

The chief of Dallas Police U.Renee Hall identified the officers Tuesday night, after DPD officers chased down and arrested Armando Juarez, the alleged suspect in the shooting. Jurez also allegedly shot scott Painter, a loss prevention officer at the Home Depot on Forest Lane near U.S Route 75 where the shooting took place. Painter is in critical condition said doctors.

Santander and Almeida responded to a call for backup at the Home Depot from an off-duty officer at the store just after 4 p.m. Tuesday. As Santander and Almeida attempted to arrest Juarez, he shot the two officers and Painter. The off-duty cop was not harmed.

Paramedics rushed down to the three victims to presbyterain,but juarez escaped from the scene in a white ford F150.

Rawling lamented the dangers faced by, Dallas police on Tuesday night at a press conference.

"It sobers us to realize what officers walk into day in and out and how quickly they become victims," Rawlings said. "I continue to be upset at the lack of respect for police in our city and our country."
