
The prosecutors have received a investigative file in the police shooting of an unarmed United Arab Emirates(UAE) citizen who fled after the Ohio car crash.
The Ohio Bureau of Investigation said on Friday that the prosecutors with the state Attorney General's Office could ask for the follow-up investigation into the case of 26-year-old Saif Nasser Mubarak Alameri's death or present the findings to a grand jury.
The bureau said that it has no timetable.
Authorities also said that a Hudson police officer repeatedly shot a Case Western Reserve University law student on 4th December during the struggle after Alameri has flipped his car along the Ohio Turnpike and then ran from the scene. Investigators have not said that why Alameri fled from the scene.
The United Arab Emirates ambassador to the United States has discussed about the case with the Ohio's governor and also the public safety director.
