First man to give Birth in UK

A Twenty-year-old transgender British man will be the first male in the UK to give birth, after he used social networking site ‘Facebook’ to find a sperm donor to get himself pregnant.

Hayden Cross is 20 years old said he will become the “World greatest father”. Hayden Cross is legally a male, but was born as a girl and then started hormone treatment for his transition, but he put the process on hold in order to have a baby through a sperm donor.

But when the £4,000 process was refused, Hayden decided to find an anonymous donor on Social networking sites instead.

“I looked on Facebook for a group and found one – it’s been shut down now. I didn’t have to pay,” he told the news.

Hayden Cross, is from Gloucester and has been living as a man for past three years and applied to have his eggs frozen on the NHS in the hope the procedure would allow him to have children in the future.

He joined a sperm donation group on Facebook, when he was told by Doctors that he would not be able to freeze his eggs during his hormonal gender transitioning.

Hayden Cross is now four months pregnant and will be the first British man ever to give birth. He said that his first attempt using donor sperm had been successful and he would continue his transition process to remove his breasts and ovaries as soon as he has given the birth.

“Having a biological child, has always meant a lot to Hayden Cross.” He always wanted kids. A local newspaper reported.

In September 2016, a transgender couple became the first in South America to give birth to a child together.

Fernando Machado, who was born as a female and his partner Diane Rodriguez, who was born as a male, gave birth to their first child in September 2016 and expressed their desire to have more children.
