Ali, aka Abu Saifullah, was caught in Kashmir. The NIA informed that he was recruited by Pakistan-based terrorist outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa and was radicalised by the LeT . Later, Ali underwent three rounds of training with the LeT at Manshera, Aksa and Muzaffarabad.
Ali confessed that there were 30-50 trainees from different corners of Pakistan and Afghanistan at the training camps of LeT. He also claimed that Pakistani military officers came to meet him while he was leaving for India. They were referred to as Major Saab and Captain Saab.
Pakistani military and other forces had been running a command centre called Alpha-3 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir(PoK), to execute terrorist operations in India.
Alpha-3, the control room of LeT, is a tactical position on a high point in PoK, a line of sight communication centre, from where the terrorists could communicate with ground terrorists in a wide range in the Kashmir valley.
