The Hindu temples are being targeted by some anti-social or anti-Hindu groups in the United States frequently. After the two separate events in February, we have got news on the vandalisation of a Hindu Temple in Old Lake Highlands, north Texas.

According to the media reports, the temple has been vandalized with nasty images spray-painted on its walls number '666' and an upside down cross was spray-painted on the door. The member of the temple's board, Krishna Singh, said they had discovered the graffiti last Monday.

The Dallas police have sent detectives and enquiry personals to search the suspects. The devotees of the temple are planning to build a fence around the entire property to keep vandals out. Both the Hindu and non-Hindu communities offered their help to restore the cleanliness in the temple premises.

Recently on February 15, unidentified miscreants sprayed 'swastika' and painted "Get Out" on one of the walls of the Bothell Hindu Temple in the Seattle Metropolitan area. On February 26, some vandals used bricks to break several windows and then painted the word "fear" on the wall of the Kent Hindu Temple.

Hindu communities are expressing their concern over the series of incidents against the Hindu culture and temples.
