The Aam Aadmi Party decided to spread its presence in entire India, which is an opposite decision to Kejriwal's wish to confine only to Delhi politics. After a huge pressure from the party workers and volunteers from various parts of the nation, the AAP’s Political Affairs Committee has taken this decision. Interestingly the senior leader Yogendra Yadav, who was sacked from the PAC on March 4, welcomed the AAP’s new decision.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh has confirmed the development and informed the media. "After our spectacular victory in Delhi and seeing the love of the people, we have decided to expand at the national level," Singh said.

"The party will expand. We will work to strengthen our organisation in other states. A decision on which states party should contest elections in will be taken only after looking at political capacity and leadership in those states,” Singh said.

The PAC meeting was convened at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence in Kaushambi. Five of the PAC's seven members attended the meeting. The decision of convincing the dissent leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan also taken by the party senior after the AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal returning from the naturopathy centre in Bengaluru.

"We have already started working to normalise the situation in the party. We have taken a step forward as we have already met Yadav," Singh informed the media about stabilizing the party situation after the meeting.

However the new decision to empower the party in all parts if the nation is being welcomed by the party volunteers and staunch supporters. But some of the political experts are terming this move as an opportunistic decision against to the promise made by the Delhi CM on February 14 during his swearing-in ceremony.
