US secret Service and Security persons will share the security job along with India forces during the US President Barack Obama trip. As per some reports, control of Delhi's international airport’s section will be taken over by the US Secret Service when President Barack Obama lands from Air Force One on Sunday, a day before the India's Republic Day celebrations.

All the roads to Rajpath in the heart of Delhi will have been shut down a week before the celebrations as the national capital a stronghold for President Obama. The 3 km stretch, on which the Republic Day parade is held, will also be shut for two days from Saturday, January 24.

Rajpath might be filled with about 165 CCTV cameras, which means a camera every 180 meters. Around 15,000 CCTV cameras are being installed in the capital and American security personnel will be part of the teams of monitoring and controlling the footages and cameras.

There is also a possible chance that chief guest for celebrations not arriving with the Indian President, as he may come in his own bullet-proof limousine. If he does follow the US’ protocol and arrives with President Mukherjee, Mr Obama will possibly be the first US President not to travel in his own highly-secured 'Beast'.

On January 27th, US President may also visit the Taj Mahal in Agra, which will be shut during that time. The highway between Delhi and Agra may also be closed for two days.

There will also be massive security in around ITC Maurya Sheraton, where President Obama will stay. Most of the buildings within a radius of two kilometers will be stationed by snipers, while the parade is on.
