The 26-year-old wife of gunman Amedy Coulibaly, who was killed yesterday in a shootout, is on the run. The terror woman - Hayat Boumeddiene was one time checkout cashier in a super market. Boumeddiene is said to have started wearing a burka after meeting Coulibaly in May 2009 and has quit her job as a cashier in a supermarket before marrying him in a religious ceremony later that year. Hayat Boumeddiene - once a supermarket check-out cashier is now France's most wanted fugitive.

Her husband, Coulibaly was a Frenchman of Senegalese descent from Juvisy, outside Paris. CNN reports that French police believe that she had managed to escape from the Jewish supermarket during the siege yesterday by pretending to be a hostage. Coulibaly and Boumeddiene managed to hold around people in Hyper Cacher in Porte de Vincennes, eastern Paris. Boumeddiene is believed to have taken part in the murder of policewoman Clarissa Jean-Philippe (pictured) on Thursday although it is understood her husband Amedey Coulibaly pulled the trigger.

Hayat Boumeddiene is described by French police as "armed and dangerous". French police is continuing their hunt for Hayat Boumeddiene - the wife of one of the three gunmen who brought terror to France this week. Coulibaly husband of Boumeddiene claimed that he had jointly planned the attacks along with the Kouachi brothers, who attacked the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. Kouachi brothers were killed yesterday when police stormed their hideout in Northern France. Police confirmed all three were members of the same Islamist cell in northern Paris.
