Shinzo Abe got people's nod to continue reforms. Abe had billed elections as a referendum on his economic policies after early success faded into a recession. Many termed this success as Abenomics success.

Abe's Liberal Democratic Party and it’s partner party Komeito had secured more than 330 seats of 475 of Lower house. He asked people to revive the economy by voting him again.

He used the slogans “Japan Can be much richer” and “This is only way” for campaigning. Despite low turnout janpanese favoured his LDP and Komeito parties. Japanese given clear mandate for Abenomics.

Increased taxes and price rates have showed poor turn out on election date.

Generally exit poll report shall be the actual result as per previous records.
