Its time to fly to a holiday destination with the highly discounted 'super summer sale' offer from SpiceJet. The Kalanithi Maran promoted airline has slashes fares by 75 percent.

Under the special offer unveiled on Monday, the budget carrier is offering reduced fare by 75 percent with an aim to attract early summer bookings. According to the press release from SpiceJet, people can avail book airtickets under the 'super summer sale' offer until the mid-night of Wednesday.

The airline stated that the special offer provides up to 75 per cent off on the base fare plus fuel surcharge for travel plans scheduled between April 1 to June 30, 2014.

The current offer from SpiceJet is the third in the past one month. The budget carrier has slashed fares to sell its tickets through early summer bookings. SpiceJet's 'super summer sale' offer comes after two similar schemes that had an overwhelming success.

The aim of SpiceJet is to make seats available at a slashed price than flying the carrier at less than full capacity.

SpiceJet chief operating officer Sanjiv Kapoor has termed the 'super summer sale' offer as a bonanza for the customers, the airlines as well as for the travel industry.
