If you think all inmates are treated like cattle class and jail is no picnic spot, ask Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently serving his five-year term in Yerawada Jail in Pune.

Seems Dutt, who is was convicted for illegal possession of arms during the Mumbai 1993 serial blasts, is apparently living a king's life in jail.

BJP leader Vinod Tawde claimed that Sanjay Dut is being handed out VIP treatment by jail authorities. Not just that, the leader of the Opposition also alleged that Dutt was being supplied rum and beer everyday by the officials in charge.

“Criminals can get whatever they want by paying a bribe... Even home minister RR Patil is aware that Dutt is provided bacardi, rum and beer daily,” said Tawde in the Maharasthra Council, adding that some senior police officer is helping Dutt.

The BJP leaders have demanded a quick investigation and report from home minister RR Patil, who will speak on this issue on Tuesday.

Just last week, Sanjay was in the eye of storm after he was granted a month-long parole by Mumbai police officials. The order was later withdrawn after a hue and cry in the media.
