Young Rebelstar Prabhas is on a roll. He is currently shooting for his next film titled Radhe Shyam, a romantic saga that is made on a big-budget. The film is aimed for summer 2021 release and Prabhas will complete shooting for his portions by December this year. The actor signed two back to back films Adipurush and Nag Ashwin's film which will roll next year. Adipurush is said to be the adaptation of Ramayana and Prabhas will be seen as Lord Rama in this epic that will be directed by Om Raut. The pre-production work of the film reached final stages.
Om Raut completed the script work and the actors, technicians are picked up. Taking the advantage of the five-day extended long weekend, Adipurush will release on August 11th 2022 during the Independence Day weekend. An official announcement is made about the same. The regular shoot of the film will commence from January 2021 and Prabhas will complete his portions for the film in six months. Adipurush will have ample scope for the VFX work and will be converted into 3D. Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of the lead antagonist. Made on a budget close to Rs 450 crores, Adipurush will release in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil languages. T-Series along with Om Raut and Retrophiles are the producers.
