Heavy rains have slammed Chennai and the neighbouring parts of the city in Tamil Nadu. The daily life has become a threat for the common man and this is the highest ever rainfall recorded in the city in the last 100 years. Basic commodities have been left unavailable because of floods and the government has estimated the loss to be over Rs 15,000 crores. Tollywood actors have been touched with the huge rains and floods, after which they contributed their part for the victims. Here is the list:

Stylish Star Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakhs for the victims and he expressed his prayers for the city. He posted on his social networking page saying “I would like to donate 25 lakhs to Chennai Flood relief ! I spent 18yrs of my Early life there It made me who I am today. I love u Chennai”.

Young Tiger NTR too did his job and he donated Rs 10 lakhs for Tamil Nadu CM Relief Fund. His brother Nandamuri Kalyanram contributed Rs 5 lakhs and the brothers will hand over Rs 15 lakhs cheque for the TN CM Relief Fund.

Superstar Mahesh Babu who has been associated well with Chennai has been deeply touched with the natural disaster. He donated Rs 10 lakhs on behalf of his family for the flood victims.

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja has announced Rs 5 lakhs as his contribution to save the flood victims in Chennai.

Mega Prince Varun Tej announced 3 lakhs to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.

Actor Sundeep Kishan is arranging 5000 food packets to be distributed in Chennai from his home.

Actor and comedian Sampoornesh Babu donated Rs 50,000 for the flood victims.
