Actor Varun Sandesh is hospitalized due to typhoid and dengue just days before his engagement to Vithika Sheru. He is in a city hospital at present for typhoid and dengue treatment. As the engagement is scheduled on 7 December 2015, all he can do is to pray for health and speedy recover before the big day.

On Tuesday morning, Vithika, who is evidently seen hassled, posted that, "My fiance @iamvarunsandesh is down with TYPHOID and DENGUE!!Hope he gets better by December 7th PLS PRAY FOR HIM #hospitalised (sic)."

Varun and Vithika first met in 2015 on the sets of the film film, Paddanandi Premalo Mari. Varun made the news about their relation clear on Monday night, when he tweeted "Getting ENGAGED on DECEMBER 7th to the LOVE of my LIFE @IamVithikaSheru :-) #HappyDays God Bless!!!"

Recently Varun played a prominent role in the upcoming flick ‘Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu’, of actor Mohan Babu and Allari Naresh. The movie also stars eteran actors Meena and Ramya Krishna in prominent roles. Actor Vishnu had revealed that Varun has not charged a penny from the movie makers for his role. He seems to be following the steps of Allu Arjun, who did not charge for his role in ‘Rudramadevi’. As per the schedule, Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu would hit theaters on the Christmas eve.
