Analysis

Ramarao On Duty Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

Ramarao On Duty has an interesting plot that has huge scope to expand and narrate in detail. But the film's director Sarath Mandava fails to keep the film engaging. Another big problem is that the entire narration and presentation are completely predictable. The forceful commercial elements make no difference. The first half has nothing much to offer and the real plot gets unfolded before the interval episode. All the songs are bad and they are not shot well on screen. Ravi Teja doesn't fit in the bill as a government servant. The audience expects some engaging episodes and entertainment but the film happens on a serious note. A big second half is expected for Ramarao On Duty after a poor and lackluster first half.

The second half dips down even further and makes a pathetic show. The director should be blamed completely as the film suffers badly in each and every department. Even Ravi Teja is unbearable in the film. The songs are a huge letdown once again. The pre-climax episodes are ok and the climax is completely predictable. Ramarao On Duty has several similarities for that of Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise. On the whole, Ramarao On Duty is a huge misfire and will end up as one of the biggest disasters in the career of Ravi Teja.

Performance

Ravi Teja who is an energetic actor fails badly in Ramarao On Duty. Though Ravi Teja did his part well, his characterization was not well penned. The entire film happens on a serious note. Both the actresses Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan have meaty roles and they make no impact. Venu Thottempudi makes his comeback. He did his part well but his role too is half-baked and badly penned. Thanikella Bharani and Nassar are completely wasted. Rahul Ramakrishna tries hard to entertain the audience but his role too make no impact.

Ramarao On Duty has an interesting and impressive plot. The entire screenplay and narration make Ramarao On Duty fall flat and the film struggles hard to entertain the audience. The dialogues too are not up to the mark. The music and the background score are the other letdowns of the film. The cinematography work is good. The sets are not natural in the film. The production values by SLV Cinemas are good. Debutant Sarath Mandava fails badly in all the available ways. Ramarao On Duty is one more disaster for Ravi Teja.

Final Word

Ramarao On Duty is a half-baked film that struggles because of the lack of clarity of the director. Even Ravi Teja could not pull this outdated flick.
