Popular Telugu comedy actor, Brahmanandam seems to be demanding Rs 1 Crore per film because of his demand. Well known in Telugu Cinema Industry for his comic timing, the prolific actor plays comedy roles in almost every Telugu movie.

The South film industry pay crores to lead actors in their films. Now it looks like comedians are also demanding huge payments. Brahmanandam, a very popular comedian, is said to have hiked his pay from lakhs to crores as he is so much in demand and there seems to be no proper replacement for him in the near future.

Brahmanandam's Guinness World Records

The 59-year-old comedian who is loved by almost all Telugu audiences has entered the Guinness World Records in 2007 for acting in 754 Telugu films within 20 years. All top stars had this popular comedian in their films more than as he is considered lucky. Even Tamil film makers are prefering to have him in their films incase they wanted to dub the movie in Telugu.

He was honored with the Padma Shri in 2009, for his contribution to the film industry. Prior to films, Comedian Brahmanandam was a Telugu lecturer in a town named Attili in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
