Amid huge suspense on the MAA election, where Nata Kiriti Rajendra Prasad and Sahaja Nati Jayasudha fought as in the case of assembly elections, Rajendra Prasad won the election with huge majority of 87 votes. The election was conducted on March 29th, and all four members of the Rajendra Prasad panel has secured the easy victory. Only 394 members has casted their vote out of 702 members.

Initially Rajendra Prasad had shown interest and many have expected his victory as unanimous, but Murali Mohan allegedly fielded JayaSudha on him to weaken his panel in the movie artists association of telugu industry.

Shivaji Raja won as secretary with over 40 votes majority, and spoken to media after confirming the results.while speaking to media he said that the membership of the association will be made easy and a building would be constructed for the association.Health insurance would be given to the poor artists.

However, official announcement is yet to come about the majority and winners details. The defeat of Jaya sudha was credited to veteran actor and MP Murali Mohan by the senior artist Vijay Kumar.
