End to annoying spam calls. Telephone Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has introduced fresh regulations starting from May 1st 2023. The new AI will detect fraud and promotional calls and messages from sources. The goal is to give quality service to customers from TRAI and this AI going to end the inconvenience caused. Truecaller is going to join hands with Airtel, Vi and Jio to restrict calls and messages from spammers.

During the meeting, Vodafone Idea represented this presentation of AI systems to analyze and detect the patterns of fraudulent messages. Bharathi Airtel and Reliance Jio have finalized the new TRAI’s AI filters technology. Bharati Airtel has made it official and installed the AI technology, while Jio is testing the privacy concerns of the users and planning to implement it soon.

Meanwhile, for other network users, you have an option of DND(Do not Disturb) service as an option, which can help avoid spam calls and telemarketing calls to some extent. The government is also encouraging a new feature of caller ID, that displays the name and photo on the mobile screen of the call receiver. So it will be easy for the receiver to identify the caller.
