Now the much featured budget tablet MiPad from Xiaomi is officially unveiled today and the devices will be available for purchasing from March 24 on the online shopping giant Flipkart. For buying the tablet you need not to go for registration.
The price tag for the budget tablet is fixed at 12,999 INR. The device is coming with 2.2 GHz Quad Core processor (NVIDIA Tegra K1) which uses Kepler GPU architecture. The battery is also much high range, which is 6700 mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery, can support longer standby and talktime.
The tweet from Mi India @MiIndiaOfficial, says “#MiPad is priced at Rs. 12,999. Launch sale on March 24th. No registration required!”, the good news is it does not need prior registration.
The device is sporting 7.9-inch IPS high resolution display with 2048 x 1536 resolution at 326 pixels per inch (PPI), and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2GB RAM and 16GB Flash (expandable to 128GB via microSD card). It also features 8MP Sony BSI rear camera and 5MP front camera.
The MiPad is fully compatible with all modern streaming and resolution material and Word, Excel and PowerPoint, WPS Office lets you directly edit and manage documents, even on Dropbox, Google Drive and other cloud storage platforms.
At the same event, Xiaomi launched new version of its budget smartphone, Redmi 2, at a price point of Rs 6,999. Xiaomi has been enjoying bigger sales in China with its Redmi Note 4G and Mi4, while in India the firm has captured good market, even by selling the devices on online retailer Flipkart.com.
