It's been a long wait for the Indians, nevertheless, a rewarding one! A year after Microsoft officially unveiled the Xbox One, the company has finally decided to release the gaming console in India. It will now hit the Indian markets on September 23.

To be launched at an introductory price of Rs 39,990, it would include a Xbox One console, Xbox One wireless controller and a 14 day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members.

Microsoft’s decision to launch Xbox One in Indian shores comes months after the Sony PS4 was launched in India at a similar rate. Let's check out what different Microsoft's Xbox One has to offer to the users than Sony's PS4.

For one, Microsoft Xbox One is equipped with an 8GB DDR3 RAM, a Blu-ray drive, and a 500GB onboard hard drive. It comes with an 8-core CPU and GPU SoC. The console supports 802.11n Wi-Fi as well as USB 3.0 connectivity.

The new Xbox has better camera and voice control as well as enhanced body movement detection. The full HD camera resolution is at 1080p. Video capturing at 60 frames per second can be done. Tthe sensor can also monitor heartbeat as users exercise, and tell if the users is smiling or not.

Voice control on Kinect allows users to carry out tasks on the Xbox One like setting up profiles and even turning the console on. Users can also control the system using gesture recognition.

The new Xbox One controller includes Impulse Triggers. The D-pad of the controller is new. The controller has a wireless range of up to 30 feetand can be paired by using Kinect and expansion port for add-ons like the chat headset.
