Jeff Bezos has released the first teaser of Amazon's first smartphone that is likely to be launched on June 18. Although we are yet to know how the new phone would look like, know that the phone will be crammed with innovations like the Kindle Fire and Prime membership program. Unconfirmed reports say the phone could have a 3-D interface and multiple front-facing cameras. Let's take a look at three features that the Amazon smartphone might have.
3-D shopping
A 3-D interface that doesn’t require special glasses could mean that the users could pull up a 3-D image of sneakers or a jacket and see all of the features easier. You could also scan your living room to make a 3-D rendering. Then, when you’re out furniture shopping, take a picture and digitally insert the product into the rendering to see if it fits.
Enhanced games
Amazon is fast expanding into the gaming arena with its Amazon Game Studio and video game offerings. A phone could potentially push them forward on the game front.
Seamless grocery shopping
Amazon has been testing its new Wi-Fi wand called Amazon Dash for sometime now. This wand could simplify barcode scanning. This could be included in the Amazon phone to improve on current barcode scanning apps.
