Sony just launched another exciting little number in the mid-range segment - the Xperia T2 Ultra Dual Priced moderately, but equipped with a gorgeous 6-inch Triluminos display, the new Ultra will take on against the Samsung Galaxy Mega series and the HTC Desire 816. And going by the exciting new features, the T2 doesn't seem to have much of a competition for now.
The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual might be a spitting image of the Z Ultra, but it's nevertheless lighter and slightly thicker as compared to its elder sibling. To tell the truth, it’s not the most ergonomic of designs, but is quite aesthetically appealing.
It features a 720p IPS LCD display, the Triluminos technology and Mobile BRAVIA Engine. Despite a low pixel count of just 245ppi, the images and text look surprisingly better than any of Samsung’s Mega series. Under the hood, it's hopped up by a Android 4.3 and 1GB RAM.
The Xperia T2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, a popular chipset used by most OEMs these days. It consists of quad-core CPU running at 1.4GHz. Performance is good and similar to the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.
The 13MP camera does a good job at stills and video. Battery life is simply excellent.
Priced at Rs 22,500, T2 is a deal-breaker. It’s a good all-rounder with a lovely display and too good battery life.
