With four more days to go for the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone to storm the stores, on April 11, 2014, the country can't stop wondering about the new phone's anti-theft features that has been in headlines ever since it was announced by the company last month.

Called "Find My Mobile" and “Reactivation Lock”, the two anti-theft features will come pre-installed on Galaxy S5 versions. User can also download these features on their mobile phones.

'Find My Mobile' will work on the same principle as Apple’s 'Find My iPhone'. It is basically an online service that can track and lock a stolen phone, wipe it clean, and alert users if someone tries to re-insert a new SIM card.

'Reactivation Lock', another anti-theft feature, can detect ‘abnormal’ attempt to reset a device to factory settings. This featre will prompt users to login even after a successful reset, which should ensure that if someone does steal your phone, they at least won’t be able to log back in.

Users will require to activate both the features on their smartphones for the safety of the device.
