After much hype, hoopla and trucloads of speculations on the money, Apple officially launched an 8GB version of its iPhone 5c. The variant went on sale on UK carrier O2’s website.
O2 has several offfers on board for the iPhone 5c contract, with prices ranging from free to approx Rs 41,000, depending on your usage or monthly payments. However, the price of an unlocked 8GB iPhone 5c for the Indian markets is yet to be known.
Indian telecom operators Airtel and Reliance are yet to list the new model in their inventory. Apple India’s website also has only16 and 32 GB option for the phone. Apple’s main US website is also yet to add the new variant to their lists.
Apart from a lesser internal storage, the iPhone 5c will not have any different hardware. So the users will get the same performance as earlier reviewed by the experts.
However, the update to iOS 7.1 will surely have an effect on the usability. As of now,we are waiting for any announcement of the 5c will be released in India anytime soon.
