The forthcoming launch of the Nothing Phone 3 has been confirmed for the upcoming months by the founder and CEO of the UK-based tech company. Initially, the successor to the Nothing Phone 2, which was released in 2023, was anticipated to debut last year. During this time, the company released mid-range models called Phone 2a and Phone 2a Plus. Similar to its predecessor, the next premium device is expected to feature a transparent back with Glyph lighting, and it is also rumored to include AI-driven functionalities. The launch timeline for the Nothing Phone 3 was shared by CEO Carl Pei in a response to a user’s inquiry on X (formerly known as Twitter) during a brief 10-minute AMA session. The expected release window is Q3 2025, indicating a potential launch between July and September.
This timeframe is consistent with the release patterns of the company's earlier smartphones.
