Roger Federer and his wife have double reasons to celebrate as the couple welcomed the second set of twins into their family. The Swiss player announced the birth of his twin sons on Tuesday.

Federer and his wife Mirka Vavrinec already have twin daughters, who were born in 2009. 

On Tuesday, Federer withdrew from the Madrid Open to be with his wife. Early on Tuesday morning his webpage said that he was pulling out of the tournament to be with his wife and to celebrate the next few exciting weeks in his family.

The fourth-ranked tennis player had also stated that he would soon rejoin the tour.

Federer tweeted the birth of his twin sons sayins, “Mirka and I are so incredibly happy to share that Leo and Lenny were born this evening! #TwinsAgain #Miracle”

Reports about the birth of Federer’s twin sons was confirmed by his agent, Tony Godsick. Federer’s  agent confirmed the birth of the baby boys, who were born in Zurich, Switzerland, on Tuesday.
