Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal cinched her second title of the season with her superlative performance by sweeping the Australian Super Series. Saina ousted Spain's Carolina Mari to win the USD 750,000 tournament prize.

After beginning the year by winning India Open Super Series earlier this year, the sixth-seeded Indian dominated the latest 43-minute contest by 21-18-21-22 that left her pockets overflowing by another USD 56,000.

The 24-year-old shuttler, who enjoyed a 1-0 head-to-head record against Marin, logged the first point and exhibited some striking net play, stroking in some amazingly timed volleys for a 5-2 lead in the opening game.
