The IPL 2022 is happening on a fast note. The Covid-19 outbreak scare has disrupted the schedule of the Delhi Capitals. The team has canceled today's travel to Pune before their next IPL game. The entire team has been asked to quarantine themselves in their rooms and the RT-PCR tests are conducted for everyone today and tomorrow. The team's physio Patrick Farrhart is isolated after he is tested positive for coronavirus. One more player from Delhi Capitals is tested positive and his name is kept under wraps. Soon, the entire team is asked to take up tests and the schedule is changed.
The final call would be taken based on the tests conducted and the results. Delhi Capitals is expected to play wth Punjab Kings on Wednesday. BCCI will take the call on the match as per the results of the RT-PCR tests. Delhi Capitals performed badly in IPL 2022 and is in eighth place in the points table. They have to perform exceptionally well to make it to the next stage. Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians are in rock bottom in the points table this year. Gujarat Titans who made their debut this year are on the top of the IPL 2022 table.
