India defeated Pakistan, but More required from FellowsCricket

India repeated its success formula against Pakistan in World Cup events with a margin of 76 runs at Adelaide Oval, yesterday. Fall of Rohit Sharma in early stage did not limited top order to defend, instead they have fired on Pakistan bowling department by hitting boundaries. Virat Kohli, Shikar Dhawan and Suresh Raina completely utilized the favourable conditions for batting, while Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ajinkya Rahane were failed score more in last 5 overs. India at a stage looked bravely to score 320 plus, but the batsmen entered after Suresh Raina, just wasted time.

Sohail Khan and Wahab Riaz bowled well and have taken five and one wicket respectively. Sohail Khan literally passed the litmus test in bowling under pressure. Though Misbah-ul-Haq tried to save the match by directing bowlers and fielders to stop the attack of Indian batsmen, their misfortunes became the strength of Indian side.

In a reply to huge score 300, Pakistan started the game with a poor beginning as Younis Khan was sent to pavilion by Shami. Ahmed Shazad and Haris Sohail tried maximum to save the match, while captain Misbah struggled like anything to order the match by contributing 76 runs. After Ahmed lost his wicket at 102/3 Pakistan batsmen followed one after other till 154/7 in 34.4 overs.

Our bowling department showed interest in defeating the Pakistan, Ashwin got 3 maiden overs, Shami and Mohit bowled economically and took 4 and 2 wickets respectively.

But Indian squad need some more shining and team work spirit, the win over Pakistan might have improved their commitment. Umesh and Shami have concentrate on bowling efficiently to make batsmen afraid. Indian Top order batsmen and Dhoni have to improve their stay in on ground. Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina should maintain consistency without injuring.

India has to face South Africa and West indies with some more energy and confidence. India will face South Africa on 22nd of this month at Melbourne.
