Indian Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni should be banned from representing India ever again for his retirement decision during the series in Australia, said theatre artist Tom Alter.

According to his comments-Only two Indian Test players have ever left a series overseas so far -Lala Amarnath and Navjot Singh Sidhu. Both were branded as villains, and traitors. And this gentleman (Dhoni) leaves a series, that too as captain, and is then eulogized!

Dhoni not only broken his contract he also broke the sacred bond with the lovers of Indian cricket. This kind of sports stars never be encouraged who use sports for money making and publicity purpose. Retirement decision with immediate effect by Dhoni is shocking news to many, and also created negative as well as positive support to Dhoni.

On December 30, Dhoni had taken decision after third match between India and Australia during the Border-Gavaskar series 2014. Virat Kohli will lead Indian Team in fourth and final test match of the series which is scheduled to commence on Tuesday at Sydney Cricket Ground. In this series Australia is top with 2-0 lead. Though our batsmen and bowlers shown good performance, was unable to beat Australia and just drawn the match.

Tom Alter comments might be personnel, but his comments are raising new doubts on the retirement decision overseas. Dhoni had played 90 Tests for India and made six centuries, 33 half centuries, and scored 4876 runs. Under his captaincy India never won a test series overseas.
