Here are some healthy habits that you can incorporate into your relationship.
Greet every morning
Morning shows the day. Start your day by greeting your partner with a positive statement like, "Good morning, I am so happy to wake up beside you everyday". The statement will make your partner smile and both of you can start off the day with a good mood.
Give a hug
Hugging your partner whenever you reunite will do wonders to your relationship. Give your partner a hug after the day's work in office or when you come home after a short office trip. Make it last for at least 20 seconds, as that is the time required for release of oxytocin, the bonding hormone.
Send playful text
Send playful texts to your partner through mobile. Say endearing things like - "I love you" or "I miss you" or "Waiting for you to come back home soon". Such messages will renew your feeling for each other. Make sure you don't overdo it or it will sound fake.
Give compliments
Compliment your partner for the little chores they do. Focus on what they do rather than what they failed to do. A major reason for failed marriage or breakup is because the partners feel unappreciated and taken for granted. You also need to compliment your partner on their appearance when you plan an outing together - for dinner or to watch a play.
