Relationship between a man and woman works when both of them agree to agree and confirm to similar values. Relationship myths like women should never propose to a man, avoid sex on your first date or beliefs like opposites attract have been proved wrong. Here are some relationship myths that have been busted.
Opposites attract
Opposites attract, definitely but there is no guarantee that it will work for long. On the contrary studies have found that a relationship where the partners are opposites do not work for long. What may have attracted you initially might begin to irritate you later. Relationships are best and long-lasting among partners who share similar tastes and ideology. In such a relationship the friction between them is minimum and they are happy with each other. Since the couple have similar tastes they love to do similar activities. Life becomes easier when the holiday destination is easy to agree upon or how to spend a day out is in liking to both the partners.
Avoid sex on first date
Most dating experts suggest that women should refrain from having sex on the first date with a man. This belief has been proved wrong as studies have found that within few moments of having met a girl a man decides whether he wants to meet her again or stop there and then. So the myth that your chances of a future together was killed by the sex on your first date is baseless. If he didn't contact you after the intimacy it implies that he realized that it won't work between the two of you.
Marriage means end of sex life
This myth is totally wrong and baseless. In reality married couples have an active sex life that is much more than singles or live-in couples. So don't avoid marriage thinking that your sex life will suffer.
