Men cheat their partners or wives for a variety of reason. Some men think they are smarter than their wives and will never be caught. While there are others who feel neglected and are out to spite her.

Studies have revealed that in a relationship or marriage the main reason for infidelity amongst men are due to the following reasons.

Disturbed marriage

Most men cheat due to too many fights with their wives. Prolonged state of unresolved issues leading to frequent fights causes men to look elsewhere for solace. They seek comfort from another person and do not feel like solving the core issue in the marriage.

Boredom

Men look at extra-marital relationship as a thrilling option outside the marriage. They do not want to work hard to recharge and refresh their relationship with their wives. Another woman seems to be a readymade option to bring excitement into their life.

Cheating wives

Cases where a wife comes and confeses of her extra-marital relationship, the husband goes out and does the same. It's done out of spite and by men who do not want to forgive their wives.

Sexual experiment

Most men are satisfied to live their whole life with a single women. But cheating men want to experiment sex with different women. Such men are likely to have extra-marital affair with different women at different point of time.

Emotional satisfaction

Men also have an affair when they feel emotionally dissatisfied. Very often women get too busy with the children and domestic chores. Men feel ignored and seek out emotional comfort from another woman in such cases.
