Monsoon brings great weather, but it also brings humidity and skin problems like acnes, rashes and skin allergies. Fret not, we can help you to enjoy the rainy season with glowing skin. Here are some face masks for monsoons to keep your skin radiant and glowing.

Make use of seasonal fruits to get the monsoon glow on your skin. Use the pulp of any seasonal fruit to make a facial mask. Run the cut fruit through the blender and apply on your face and neck immediately. Papaya is great for removal of blackhead and also takes care of blotchy or sallow skin. A cucumber mask has cooling properties and helps to improve greasy skin that looks dull. While watermelon mask will freshen up your facial skin. These fruit masks have to be left on your skin for at least 15 minutes. Wash it off with water.

Dry skin

Those with dry skin can use a face mask involving egg white, yogurt and multani mitti. Take one egg white, 1 tablespoon yogurt and multani mitti (fuller's earth). Mix all the ingredients into a paste and apply on your face. Keep it on till it dries. Wash with water. Apply this face mask two times in a week. It keeps dry skin toned and glowing.

Oily skin

People with oily skin can use a face mask containing multani mitti, gram flour and sandalwood powder. Take all the three ingredients in equal quantities and mix well. Keep it in an air-tight container and prepare a pack every time you want to apply. Make a paste by mixing one tablespoon of this pack with water. Apply over your face and let it dry. Wash off with water.

Normal skin

Make a face mask using one mashed banana and a teaspoon of salad oil. You can also use any healthy vegetable oil. Apply this paste on your facial skin and let it stay for 15 minutes. Wash with plain water. People with dry to normal skin will benefit from this face mask.

The above face masks will give monsoon glow to your skin from outside. But the skin needs hydration from within also. So drink lots of water as we tend to perspire more during monsoons.
