Your skin reflects your lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle comprising of balanced diet and regular exercise gives you glowing skin. Besides consuming fresh fruits and vegetables helps you to maintain a healthy beautiful skin.

However, if you neglet your health and follow an erratic lifestyle then you will have skin problems like premature skin aging. Here are a few beauty tips that you can follow to prevent skin aging before time.

Adequate sleep

Get yourself at least seven hours of night sleep to help cellular regenaration. Lack of sleep shows its effect on your facial skin. You tend to develop dark circles and facial skin becomes sallow. Not getting enough sleep is definitely going to make you look older than your age.

Sugar

Excess consumption of sugar will increase the blood sugar level in your body that results into premature aging of skin. High blood sugar causes the process of glycation in your body that affects collagen and elastin in your skin, leading to wrinkles. So limit your sugar intake, as it not only adds to your weight but also boosts skin ageing.

Alcohol

Excessive consumption of alcohol is bad news for your skin. Alcohol causes dehydration and also reduces the salt content in your body, which is not good for the skin.

Too much exercise

Exercising, especially running, should not be excessive as it leads to sagging skin. Too much of running leads to breakdown of skin collagen that leads to premature skin aging.

Besides you should adopt a regular beauty regimen of cleansing, toning and moisturisation. During dry weathers keep your skin well hydrated by applying a suitable moisturiser. Also drink lots of water to keep skin hydrated and supple.
